The Dog Muck Competition has reaped some excellent results and Mr Devlin and Councillor Smithies have found it hard to choose the winners! But they finally managed it. Here are the winners.
Zoeya Sajid – She won £30
Harrison Blenkard – He won £20
Jordan Heckles – She won £10
Zoeya and Harrison, along with the school council, went out onto the roads to put their signs up. A man from the Keighley News went along to take some photos. The winners are happy with their rewards, the school is happy with the posters, but will they work? That remains to be seen…

We now have another school wanting to stay in contact with us; this time, in Africa.
We have another school wanting to exchange blog posts with us. The first one was is Lithuania, and we are currently formulating a reply to them. This one is in Africa, and they are wanting to stay in contact with us for as long as both schools want to, which seems like a pretty long time!
The school in Africa, called Leap Science and Maths School, is situated in a township called Diepsloot. The children in Leap and Science and Maths are very excited to be contacting us, and we will hopefully receive a message from them soon. We will show you the reply that we send as well. We are excited to be talking to them, and you will have to agree that this is an exciting opportunity! Click HERE for a link to their website.

There has been poor weather recently and forecasts of lots of snow and ice over the next few days. Lots of parents have been phoning school to find out if we are open. Here are some easy ways to find out:
If the weather is bad enough to close school we will post something on the main school website. You can find this site here.
Mr Devlin posts updates on the school twitter account. You can see our news on twitter here.
If the school has to be closed before the start of the day there will be an announcement on Pulse Radio and Radio Leeds.
Education Bradford also keep an up to date list of closures. It is on their website here.
Please check these sites for information about the school in bad weather. Lots of people phoning school means it is difficult for important calls to be answered, and a lot of the time the phones can be engaged because of high numbers of calls.

As it is Spring Term now, we thought we’d write about some of our favourite flowers. Do you think any of them will grow in our school garden and nature area?
This water Lilly is very creative because I have never heard of a flower in water. Water lily also called Pond lily is a name applied to plants of the genus Nymphaea.
I think this beautiful image of a bright yellow buttercup is not very amazing and shocking because it is very dull with the colour but I think it is a very intelligent because some people say it can tell you if you like butter or not.
This amazing ,clean ,scented rose is magic as people say because when people put images of a rose with something coming off it it looks like it is made by a wizard.
A sunflower is an annual plant native to the Americans. It possesses a large inflorescence. The sunflower is named after its huge ,fiery blooms, whose shape and image are often used to depict the sun.
Daisies refer to a large group of flowers, not a specific flower, and there’s a lot to learn about them.
I like this tulip because it is a very nice colour and it looks really good with the sky in the back ground also because they look like triplets and they look like they have been took care of.
Michael has selected his favourite 10 Minecraft Songs.

Here are some of our favourite kittens. We hope you like them!
I think that this kitten is very eye-catching because of this image. It has made me very amazed when I saw this image.
I think this image of a tabby kitten is even cuter because the Persian kitten has a lot of fluffy hair.
I think these kittens are the cutest because I had a kitten that is similar to my kitten but it died.
I think that this kitten is a beautiful kitten because when you look at it it looks like it is going to pounce.
I think this kitten looks like my friends’ kitten called Whiskas. This kitten has blue eyes and brown black
This picture shows that this kitten is laying down and it is grey and white.
This little kitten has green eyes and a little pink nose and has small paws.
